Hickory Bluff Chapter, Vietnam Veterans Day 2019

Through this vietnam50thcpp.com website, the EC-47 History Site Vietnam War Commemorative Partners Program Committee is often asked to provide assistance in recognizing Vietnam War veterans and family members living outside the Concho Valley. For Veterans Day in November 2018, and again for Vietnam Veterans Day this year, we were honored to work with the Hickory Bluff Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Port Charlotte, Florida. We provided guidance and help with Certificates of Honor and lapel pins as part of their tribute to Vietnam War veteran surviving spouses. Chapter Regent, Debi Allen, has been our point of contact and she kindly passed along their thanks and these newspaper stories. Both articles mention these special surviving spouses.
