Fort Concho held its annual Memorial Day program on Monday, May 27, with 40 participants and guests attending. Tom Green County Judge Steve Floyd and San Angelo Mayor Brenda Gunter gave greetings; the Fort Concho Living History volunteers and the Sons of the Confederate Veterans provided the salutes; and Major (retired USAF) Jason Stutzman of San Angelo gave the main address. The program and refreshments were organized by Joyce Gray and the Pocahontas Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
